Join your fellow neighbors on Saturday, April 22nd from 10am – 2pm, for a neighborhood-wide clean-up! Gloves, trash bags and vests will be provided, as well as pickers upon request.
Meet at Marshall Terrace Park (2740 Marshall St NE, Minneapolis, MN 55418) starting at 10am for light refreshments, including coffee provided by Buttered Tin and pastries from Sarah Jane’s Bakery. Volunteers will be given supplies and snack packs (provided by We Are Nuts) and assigned a zone of the neighborhood to work on. When volunteers finish, all supplies must be returned to the park across from 56 Brewing (where the Christmas Tree lot usually is). Each volunteer will then receive a BOGO coupon to 56 Brewing!
56 is also having their own Earth Day event, including environmentally friendly vendors/mini maker’s market and the release of their Public Access IPA made in collaboration with the Minnesota Center for Environmental Advocacy. (For more details, visit: https://facebook.com/events/s/earth-day-at-56-brewing/3210169089128295/)
So why not make a day of it? Help clean our community, then kick back with a free beer that helps the environment (a portion of Public Access proceeds are donated to the MCEA)!
We hope to see you!
Thank you to our Earth Day Clean-Up sponsors:
